With Connection Card Pro’s Event Registration platform, you can create a seating chart to allow participants to choose their seat and those they register with them.
Our seating map allows you to create aisles and walkways, handicap seating and handicap companion seating, the ability to custom label seats, and more!
Creating a Seat Map
When you are creating a new Event (In Events > New Event) you will be asked to check if you would like to use a seat map on the first, Basic information page. If checked, you will see a Seat Map page after the Participant Settings page.
On this page you can:
Enter the number of rows and columns to create your base map.
You can remove rows or columns of seats to create aisles or walkways by clicking on either the “Aisle” or “walkway” button and then hover your mouse over the row and click that row to remove those seats.
To add any row back that you removed, click on either Aisle or Walkway again and click that row/column.
Remove individual seats by clicking on the “Remove Seats” edit mode at the top and then click on the seat(s) to remove it from the grid. Click on that seat again to bring it back.
Add Handicap and handicap companion seating. Click the “Create Seatmap” mode button, then click on the seat and in the pop-up box click Handicap or one of the Companion options.
Click on the “Label Seats” edit Mode button to set the label options for your seats (Sequential, Row and Column or Custom for all seats) along with the order being horizontal, vertical, row or column type.
To apply a Custom Label to a seat, click on the “Label Seats” mode, and click on an individual seat to add a custom label to that seat.
Clear any custom labels by clicking on “Clear Custom Labels”.
Click Save when you are finished with your Seat Map to continue to the next step in your event you are creating.
