Payment Processing Rates

Processing fees are unavoidable, due to the credit card interchanges and banks involved. But, with Connection Card Pro, you can give your donors the option to increase their donation to cover the processing fee. When this happens, this effectively "lowers" the cost to your organization. We are still deducting the full fee, but your donors have given a bit more than they were originally planning to give, allowing you to keep the entire amount they intended to give. The effective rate is based on deducting additional amounts donated to cover the fees from the total fees charged.

To View your Payment Processing Rates

From the menu:
Accounting > Financial Settings > Processing Rates

Here you can view your current payment processing rates applied to online Donations and payments and ACH transactions processed by your account. These are the rates that will be deducted from these transactions to your organization.

Calculated Rates: See your total processed transactions and total fees for both credit/debit card transactions and ACH transactions. And below see an explanation of how they are calculated.
