Setting up Dymo Wireless Label Printer
Connection Card Pro supports the Dymo LabelWriter Wireless label printer for check-ins, events, and printing address labels.
Some additional set up is required through Dymo's software in order to correctly using the Dymo LabelWriter Wireless with Connection Card Pro.
Although we are unable to provide support for the printer itself, and you can find additional information from Dymo's web site, we have put together this short guide to help you set up your printer in the way that we've found works well.
First, install Dymo Connect on the computer which you wish to use this label printer on. You must do a full and complete installation of the Dymo Connect software, as this includes additional tools which allow our web interface to connect to the Dymo printer. For Dymo's latest software, please visit https://www.dymo.com/support?cfid=user-guide. Be sure to install Dymo Connect for LabelWriter printers.
Get the wireless printer turned on and connected to your WiFi network. We recommend following Dymo's instructions for doing this if you are unsure how. This should be the same Local Area Network which the device you will be using this printer on is connected to.
To properly install a Dymo Wireless printer so that it works with our web interface, open Dymo Connect.
Go to File and select "Add Network Printer".
You will see a window which says "Add Network Printer" with a list of available printers. If you do not see your printer listed here, it may not be turned on or it may not be properly set up with your network. Refer to Dymo's instructions for troubleshooting.
Click on the wireless printer and click Next.
It may take a minute or two, but once complete, you'll receive a confirmation.
The printer is now installed and you will be able to use it in Connection Card Pro by choosing it from the dropdown in check-in settings in Kiosk.
