Adding People to a Crew

Connection Card Pro makes creating and scheduling your Crew easy! Crews are used for any sort of work team/ work crew/ volunteer teams and even staff. The number of crews and schedules you can create are unlimited! With Connection Card Pro you can create your crew, schedules, assign people to specific crew positions, and enable automated email and text reminders when scheduling. Create a crew for your Hospitality Team, Nursery workers, Worship Team, Production Crew, Kids and Youth Department volunteers, etc.

Each crew can have an unlimited number of custom positions and each crew has its own calendar with scheduling options for your events, services, rehearsals, meetings and shifts. Assign positions to each calendar item you create. Users can also view all scheduled items for all crews in the main organization’s calendar.

There are 3 ways to add people to your Crew:

1) For a fast way to add several people at a time to a crew:

• Go to your Person List (People > View People)
  
• Click each name to highlight of all those you want to add to a crew/team
• Go to the Batch Action line at the bottom of your Person List, select from the drop-down menu under Organize People “Add to Group”.
• In the next pop up line select from the drop-down menu under Crew the crew to add these people to.
• Click Go

2) When creating a new person record, or when editing a person record:

• Go to People > View People OR  Person List shortcut key
• Click on Edit to the right of that person.
• Scroll down to Groups section in their person profile page.
• Click on + to add this Crew group
• Select from the drop-down their classification for this group.
• If there are specific positions listed under this Crew you can click all that apply for this person.
• Save

3) Go to Groups > Crews > Roster for that Crew and click on “Add Person(s)" at the top right corner.
